Hey! Thank you for taking the time to visit my world. Here's a little about me, my journey through art, how I found my passion in graffiti and a little of where I've been and what I do ~
Ricky "CRANK" Taylor’s career as an artist stems from his love of shapes and short-lived animation background. Not too long after setting off to master the world of animation, Ricky's passion for public art quickly made him realize that THIS is what he was to create. Quickly rejecting animation and trading his technical pens for spray cans is what pushed him to start a career as an artist. Graffiti has always been a big influence and inspiration of his, because of its power to influence and inspire the surrounding community, despite it being highly misunderstood. Every project pays homage to his beginnings, influences and community. like a subtle THANK YOU.
CRANK’s work usually distinguished by his use of flow with bright vivid colors and whimsical lines.
An artist of few words, chosen elements carefully curated within pieces often give a glimpse into his life with each piece.
